Nursery: 6 weeks - 12 months

Engaging games and activities help our babies develop gross motor skills. Nursery care givers also focus on language acquisition, visual stimulation, and brain development. Music is also introduced at this early stage.

Toddlers: 13 - 23 months

Fine & gross motor skills, art, language, math, & music occupy the days of our Toddlers. Fun and exciting activities using Tumble Time, ASL Sign Language, Spanish & literature on a thematic basis also re-enforce these skills.

2 year olds

Spanish & music, Tumble Time & art facilitate learning in this classroom. Utilizing bi-weekly themes, children further their understanding of these life-skills. As children are potty trained, they are moved to the Pre Kinder (PK) classroom.

PK 3: 2 1/2 - 3 1/2

A consistent routine of fun activities including musical instruments, conversational Spanish, literature, hands-on learning and the fostering of social skills keep our PK 3 students busy.

PK 4 & 5: 3 1/2 - 5

Reading readiness, math, creative arts, Spanish, science, and music help our children become well-rounded young learners, eager & prepared to continue their formal educations.

Music

Research shows that studying music improves learning. All children at the Kids Learning Center attend music lessons that are appropriate for their age level. Our PK 3 & PK 4 students perform at our annual get-together. Included in tuition.

Tumble Time

Young children are full of seemingly boundless energy. To help them start a lifelong love of fitness, they attend tumbling classes here at the Kids Learning Center every day. Included in tuition.

Spanish

Children learn languages easily before the age of 5. All students, Nursery to PK5, attend Spanish class two or three times a week for 15 or 30 minutes. Instructors use flashcards, objects, & movement to build vocabulary. PK classes practice conversational Spanish. Included in tuition.

Assessments: PK 3, 4 & 5

Conducted in December and May, assessments include the developmental skills areas of: social, artistic, musical and motor, basic colors and shapes, mathematical (manipulative), identification of alphabet, language arts, and self-help.
